Products and materials

What is bamboo fabric made from? Our bamboo fabrics are made from bamboo viscose - the bamboo plant is broken down and processed into soft, spinnable fibres, then woven or knitted into fabric. This is the same general process used to make most bamboo textiles on the market. We're happy to share more detail on our specific supply chain on request.

Is bamboo fabric breathable? Yes. Bamboo fabric is naturally breathable and moisture-wicking, which is why it's a popular choice for people who sleep hot or want a lighter, airier feel than traditional cotton.

Will my bamboo products get softer over time? Yes, our bamboo-cotton blends tend to soften with every wash, unlike some synthetic fabrics that lose their feel over time.

Bamboo bedding

What sizes are available? Our duvet covers and fitted sheets come in Single, Double, King and Super King.

Is your bedding 100% bamboo? Our core bedding range is made from 100% bamboo. Please check the individual product page for the exact composition of each item, as this can vary by product.

Is bamboo bedding warm or cool? Bamboo fabric is designed to help regulate temperature, which many customers find helpful for staying cooler in summer and comfortably warm in winter. Individual experience can vary from person to person.

What are Azenue towels made from? Our towels are made from a bamboo and cotton blend, combining bamboo's softness and absorbency with cotton's durability. Exact percentages are listed on each product page.

Are bamboo towels absorbent? Yes, bamboo fibres are naturally absorbent, which is one of the main reasons customers choose them for bath and hand towels.

Bamboo socks

What are Azenue socks made from? Our bamboo socks are made from a bamboo, polyester and spandex blend for softness, shape retention and everyday durability. Exact percentages are listed on each product page.

Who are bamboo socks suitable for? They're designed for everyday comfort and breathability, and many customers who are on their feet for long periods - including active people and those in healthcare roles - tell us they find them comfortable. This is based on customer feedback rather than clinical testing.

Sensitive skin and allergies

Is bamboo fabric suitable for sensitive skin? Bamboo fabric is naturally soft and smooth, and many people with sensitive skin find it more comfortable than rougher synthetic fabrics. We can't guarantee suitability for every individual, as skin sensitivity varies from person to person.

Can bamboo bedding help with asthma, eczema or allergies? Our products are not medical devices and are not designed to treat, prevent or cure asthma, eczema, allergies or any other medical condition. Some customers with these conditions tell us they prefer a breathable, natural-feeling fabric like bamboo, but we'd always recommend speaking to your doctor about managing any medical condition, including any changes to your bedding or home environment.

Is bamboo fabric hypoallergenic? Bamboo fabric is naturally smooth-fibred with no rough edges, which may make it less likely to irritate skin than some other fabrics. As with any textile, individual reactions can vary, so we can't promise it will suit everyone.

Care and washing

How do I wash bamboo bedding and towels? Machine wash cold or warm (max 40°C) on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softener, as these can damage the natural fibres. Tumble dry on low or line dry, and avoid high heat.

Can I iron bamboo bedding? If needed, iron on a low heat setting. Bamboo fabric naturally resists wrinkling, so you'll rarely need to.

How should I wash bamboo socks? Machine wash cold or warm (max 40°C) with similar colours, and avoid fabric softener, which can reduce breathability over time.

Orders and delivery

Do you offer free delivery? Yes, we offer free delivery on all UK orders over £50.

How long does delivery take? Most orders are dispatched within 1-3 business days. You'll receive tracking information by email as soon as your order ships.

Do you ship outside the UK? We currently ship within the UK. If you're contacting us from outside the UK and would like to order, get in touch and we'll do our best to help.

Is checkout secure? Yes, all payments are processed through Shopify's secure checkout, and we accept major cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay.

Can I change or cancel my order? If your order hasn't shipped yet, contact us as soon as possible at thefortune369@gmail.com and we'll do our best to help.

Returns and refunds

What is your returns policy? We offer 30-day returns on all orders. Items should be unused, in their original packaging, with tags attached. See our Refund Policy for full details.

How do I start a return? Email us at thefortune369@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp at +44 7791 181494 with your order number, and we'll guide you through the process.

When will I get my refund? Once we receive and inspect your return, refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.

Sustainability

Is bamboo sustainable? Bamboo is one of the fastest-growing plants on earth and generally needs less water and fewer pesticides than cotton to grow, which is why it's often considered a more resource-efficient raw material. Turning raw bamboo into soft fabric does involve further processing, so we'd stop short of calling any textile completely environmentally harmless.

Is Azenue packaging eco-friendly? We're working to reduce packaging waste across our range. Specific packaging materials can vary by product - contact us if you'd like details for a particular item.
